Luxaflex® Duette® Shades | Customer Case Study
Mr and Mrs Barnes, based in Hampton in Arden, Solihull were looking for a solution to help control light, privacy and reduce heat gain in their extensively glazed new home extension. They approached us to help identify their issues and to provide an ideal shading product, which would allow them to fully control the light and heat entering the new extension.
The team at Love Your Blinds suggested Luxaflex® Duette® Shades with PowerView® (i) automation. These blinds can provide a perfect solution to many solar issues. The unique honeycomb structure of the Duette® blind gives excellent thermal insulating performance.
By installing the Duette® Shades with the top-down bottom-up function this allows the customer to choose exactly where and when light can enter the room, either from the top of the blind or the bottom, totally open or totally closed. This function is a favourite of ours as it allows much more versatility with light control within a home.
In total we fitted 11 Duette® Shades around the home which included:
6 x PowerView® Top-Down, Bottom-Up Duette® Shades on the large glazed extension. With one Single TruFit® (i) blind on the Kitchen door.
2x PowerView® Top-Down only Duette® Shades in the kitchen.
1x TruFit® Top-Down, Bottom-Up Duette® Shade fitted directly to the door.
2x Manual SmartCord® (i) Blinds - One in the study and one on the stairway.
